Metro Police increases presence on Las Vegas Strip after violent Labor Day weekend; 62 arrested

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — After a violent Labor Day weekend on the Las Vegas Strip, Metro Police increased its presence in the Resort Corridor.

According to police, 37 people were arrested Friday, and 25 were arrested Saturday. A total of 10 guns were confiscated.

Metro says there were over 100 officers who worked the Strip this weekend. Some of them were detectives assigned to the Investigative Services Division.
