Dance Festival Moving to Summerlin Library
Arts & Culture

A mainstay of the dance community in Las Vegas is returning this summer at a new location.

The Dance in the Desert Festival will now be at the Summerlin Library Performing Arts Center.

The festival has long been held at the College of Southern Nevada, but is now being moved to the library. It will start Friday, July 26 at 7 p.m. Performances will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.

The show was created to give an artistic outlet for Strip performers and to keep dance students at CSN active during the summer months. This year's list of performers include local dance companies and companies from around the country.

Admission to the festival is free.
