CORE Construction Helps Build Southern Nevada’s Blood Supply

In the spirit of giving, CORE Construction asks community members to roll up their sleeves to give the precious gift of blood. The general contractor has teamed up with United Blood Services (UBS) for its quarterly blood drive, in which UBS will park its “bloodmobile” at CORE’s Las Vegas office for a day.

On Thursday, May 5, volunteers will have the opportunity to donate a much-needed commodity. UBS is in need of donations because of significant blood shortages that have strained the national supply.

The blood donation unit will be on-site from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To arrange a time that best fits your schedule, even if it is outside of the designated slots, or for more information, contact Monique Hathaway at 794-0550 by Wednesday, May 4. CORE’s office is at 7150 Cascade Valley Court, near the intersection of Tenaya Way and Peak Drive.

A full-service, multi-dimensional general contractor, CORE Construction demonstrates expertise in a wide array of project types including municipal, educational, office, medical, retail and industrial. The privately owned company has offices in Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri and Texas. For more information, the website is accessible at www.COREconstruct.com.
