Metro Police are looking for two men in connection with an attempted check fraud at a bank inside a grocery store Wednesday. They are also looking for two men in connection with a take-over style robbery of the same bank on the same day.

According to police, at 5:17 p.m. Wednesday, two men tried to cash fraudulent checks using fictitious identification at the bank inside a store in the 10000 block of West Flamingo. The tellers would not cash the checks, and the men left without getting any money.

About 45 minutes later, two men came to the bank while the employees were closing the branch, jumped over the counter, grabbed an employee and forced the worker to give them money.

After getting the money, the men left in a silver, four-door sedan.

The first man connected to the attempted fraud is described as an Hispanic man between 18 and 22 years old. He is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He has a star tattoo on his earlobe. He was last scene wearing a football jersey and dark cap.

The second man connected to the attempted fraud is an Hispanic man also between 18 and 22 years old. He is between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 with a medium build. His hair is in a ponytail, and he has a tattoo on his right forearm that is black, gray and red. He was last scene wearing a dark, button-up shirt and dark pants.

Police believe the cases are connected.
