Metro Police are looking for the public’s help in tracking down the person who shot two victims during an early morning robbery at a park.

According to police, the victims were at a park near Charleston Boulevard and Vista Center Drive in the early morning of Sept. 4.

Several young men approached the victims and demanded property. When the victims gave the men their property, one of the young men took out a gun and shot the victims in the legs.

The men then took the victims’ car. As part of the investigation, police released pictures of a car similar to the car that was stolen.

The car is a dark green Mitsubishi Gallant LS four door. The car originally had license plate 793LRD, but it may now have temporary plates.

The car has a spare tire mounted on the front right side of the vehicle.
