Cimarron-Memorial Competing in FIRST Robotics Competition

A southern Nevada school started its push to win the FIRST Robotics Championships going on now in St. Louis, Missouri.
Cimarron-Memorial High School is competing against dozens of other teams from around the country.
The teams had six weeks to design and build a robot that would throw a disk into a goal and then climb to the top of a pyramid.
The competition is part of an effort to show students that science, technology, engineering and math can be exciting and fun.
The school placed third in the 2011 competition.
