Williams-Sonoma hiring for call center, sales associates

The Williams-Sonoma call center at Town Center and Summerlin Parkway is looking to hire 110 customer service associates and 150 sales associates.

The company says there are work-from-home and split-shift opportunities.

It is holding three career fairs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week at 10000 Covington Cross.

The pay rate is $11 per hour for traditional shifts and $12 per hour for split shifts. They also have paid training and retail discounts.

Job fair Wednesday for Downtown Summerlin

A job fair is set for next week for the highly anticipated new shopping center Downtown Summerlin.

The fair will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Summerlin Ballroom at Red Rock Resort.

Positions are open at the numerous retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues at the shopping area. There are both full-time and part-time positions available. There are also management and administrative jobs.

The security firm for the center and the janitorial company will also be looking for employees.

Applicants will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis upon arrival at the fair. People should bring a current resume and a list of work-related references.

New restaurant in Tivoli Village holding job fair

A new restaurant planned for Tivoli Village near Summerlin is hosting a job fair.

Made.LV is looking for people to fill several positions from line cooks to bar backs and from pastry cooks to food runners.

The job fair started at 10 a.m. Tuesday and will continue through 6 p.m. The fair will continue Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Made.LV, which is between The Crepe and Kidville.

Qualifications include:

  • Two years experience in a full service, high volume, fast-paced restaurant
  • Ability to work morning and evening shifts
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Food handler certified
  • Fluent in English

People interested in applying for a position must bring a copy of their resume, their driver’s license, social security card and/or a passport, and if applicable, working cards.

City of Las Vegas looking for lifeguards

City of Las Vegas looking for lifeguards

The city of Las Vegas is looking for lifeguards and water safety instructors for the upcoming summer pool season.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have a current certification in lifeguarding, first aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator use.

Jamba Juice job fair set for Thursday

Anyone looking for a summer job should check out a job fair planned for Thursday at the Jamba Juice store on Sahara Avenue and Ft. Apache Road.

The fair is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Several positions are available, including shift leads and shift managers for Jamba Juice locations around southern Nevada.

Those interested in a job should fill out an application online at jambajuicelv.com and should bring a resume. Members of the management team will be on hand to interview potential employees.

Wet 'n' Wild Taking Applications for Seasonal Jobs

Wet 'n' Wild is getting ready for its second season and is looking to hire 450 people.

The water park is looking to fill dozens of positions, including lifeguards, admissions, guest services, food and beverage, security and emergency medical technicians.

The water park is set to open April 12 and will stay open through September. People interested in applying need to go to wetnwildlasvegas.com and look under the employment tab.

The Wet 'n' Wild team will review applications and select people for follow up interviews in the next few months.

The minimum age requirement for employment is 16, at the time the park opens, or 18, depending on the position. Details on requirements for jobs are available on the park's website.
