The city of Las Vegas is offering two free concerts in May as part of the city's Las Vegas Arts Connection community outreach.

The first concert will be at 7 p.m. May 9 at Bruce Trent Park, 8851 S. Vegas Drive.  The Red Rock Ramblers will play a mix of bluegrass, classic country, swing and gospel music.

The second concert will be 7 p.m. May 16 at Police Memorial Park, 3250 Metro Academy Way. John Earl's Boogieman Band will perform some of their original works that feature a Delta and Chicago Blues tone. They will also perform classic songs from that genre.
