Red Rock Campground Closes for the Season

The campground at the Red Rock National Conservation Area will close Tuesday.

The campground is located two miles east of the visitor center just of State Route 159. It is the only developed campground inside the conservation area. The area will be closed until Labor Day.  

There are several other areas available for camping including the Valley of Fire State Park, Lake Mead Recreation and the backcountry at Red Rock Canyon. You can camp on Bureau of Land Management land for up two weeks with a permit for no charge.
