Thousands Turn Out for Summerlin Parade

Thousands Turn Out for Summerlin Parade

Overcast skies and humidity didn't keep thousands from heading out to the 17th annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade.

Marching bands were just one of the many entries at the annual Summerlin Patriotic Day Parade. There were elaborate floats and big gigantic balloons to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Red, white and blue could be seen all along the parade route even on some of the smallest faces. Little Nicholaus had the best seat along the route, his dad's lap. "The parade is great. We are loving it," said his father.

The parade had many entries from different cultural backgrounds including a group of Latin American dancers.
