Registration Open for Ward 2 Special Election | Politics

The Las Vegas city clerk’s office is now open for in-person voter registration for the Ward 2 special election.
People living in Ward 2 who are not registered to vote but who wish to cast a ballot in the election can register at the clerk’s office now through March 3. The office is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through February 29. The office will have extended hours: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 1. There will also be extended hours March 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The office is in the new city hall, 495 S. Main Street. Parking at the new city hall is free for two hours with validation.
Early voting for the special election is March 15 and 16. The special election will be March 20. Voters will be replacing former City Councilman Steve Wolfson. He was recently appointed district attorney.
