POPPY DEN Pops Us Off

Curtas: an hour with only a crab cake appetizer on the table is too much to take.

We — the Burger Maven and ELV — arrived at Poppy Den at 12:33pm on Friday, hungry for a Poppy Burger.

We left at 1:25, with a bad taste in our mouth and one tiny crab cake each in our gut, after being told “one of your burgers is ready.”

Honey Salt Offering Meals for Restaurant Week

 

One of Summerlin's newest and most talked about restaurants will be offering a special menu for upcoming Las Vegas Restaurant week to raise money for Three Square.

From March 8 through 15, Honey Salt at 1031 South Rampart Boulevard will be offering a special three-course lunch and a special three-course dinner to benefit the nonprofit.

The lunch menu offers a grain salad, a choice of main course and a slice of key lime pie for dessert for $30.13 per person.

The dinner course starts with a clam and calamari fry, a choice of sea scallops or a brick oven chicken for the main course and dessert is a apple pie all for $50.13 per person.

During Restaurant Week, some of the top restaurants on the Strip and in neighborhoods offer prix fixe menus to benefit Three Square.

Since the program started in 2006, more than 1.5 million meals have been provided to those in need through funding from Restaurant Week.
