Photo Gallery | Palo Verde Teacher Killed in 9-11 Attacks Remembered

Students and staff at Palo Verde High School hold a memorial service Tuesday morning for former teacher Barbara Edwards, who died on the plane that crashed into the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.

The service took place near the permanent memorial erected for Edwards, which is located in the corner of the school's soccer field. Edwards, a foreign language teacher, was returning from a visit with family in Virginia on United Flight 77, one of four planes overtaken by hijackers in the terrorist attacks.
